July 4th Contestant's

UPDATE!

The judging will be announced July 3rd at midnight!
I need each participant to email me your address so I can send prizes!
I will be sending something to everyone for participating.....yeah that's right.
We will have a grand prize winner and several runner ups...
Here's a photo I found on Parade Magazines website....too too cute!

This is my Elvis. He is not eligible to participate in the contest but still wanted to dress up!

These darling caprines live at Hidden Haven Homestead with Peggy. Please go visit their site, it's a must see.

Sammi is really taking this competition seriously! What a doll baby, huh??

Miss Sonya is old school. She knows every respectable southern belle never goes to a picnic without her straw hat!

Miss Diva was asked to dress up in patriotic garb but you can't expect a DIVA to show up without her tiara!

Miss Didi has got her July 4th beads on and headed to the fireworks!

This photo is made in the spirit of the Freedom of America, where daredevils have the right to dress up in American flag-themed suits and jump over multiple vehicles on motorcycles. Thus I felt that dressing Kilroy in a cape is all too appropriate, as he is seriously thinking about "leaping" over two dogs as a July 4th stunt.

Yay! We have a new contestant! Meet Kilroy the super hero! He flew in for our contest and may I say he looks dashing in his cape! Please check out Kilroy the Love Beastie at his blog! Just click on the blog title! Thanks to Kilroys Mom~ Tracy for the entry!!

This little love is Manny. What a charmer! Manny lives with Spunky Doodle and Karen Zemek of "MY Funny Dad Harry" by Karen (a must read) Please click on the title to visit her site!

This is Spunky Doodle who's human companion is Karen Zemek. I can see how Spunky got his/her name!! (wink)

OK folks the bar has been set! What a darling picture provided by Vikki at Red Chair Gallery. Please click on her name and visit her wonderful site. She is a talent for sure!!!

Good picture, I am going to have to get on the ball now. I should go chase down Jack, Belle the cow and Annie the goat right now with something patriotic in one hand and the camera in the other. Hmmm, Jules, how fast do you think I can run??lol..
Have a good day.

Hi. The hardest thing was convincing my patriots to wear the hat I made them. But after much discussion and chasing around the house, they were pleased to oblige and we got the job done. I'd really like to see you get a hat on a goat. That's too funny.

Vikki's pictures are awesome. They'd be hard to be outdone. I'll be one of the spectators for the contest. Good luck to all. Have a great day, Jules.

Hey,

If you talk to Matt-Speak Matt, tell him I need him posting. There's no one else on EntreCard as much fun to debate with! ;)

How are you doing? Great pics of the fireworks!

Ugh, you make my life so difficult Jules...
Do you know how hard it is to make a chicken hold a flag?
Jeez.
I think I'll try some super glue....

Jules said...

Hahahah Paula~ I have faith in you! We need more pix!!

Matthew, I guess you saw that Matt-Brother is posting again! Yay! Don't you have a pet to enter my contest?

Tasha- I had already listed you as a judge, I didn't post your comment because your email was on it. If ya want me to delete it i will! wink!

Yeah, your're right Jules. It's probably wise to remove my email address, or else I'll be inundated with unsolilited mails.

Hey Jules!
Thanks for stopping by Kilroy's blog and saying hi! I like your blog very much. I will definitely have to figure out how to dress him in a patriotically themed affair. Hmm! This will take some thought!

Jules said...

Well folks. If this is all the participants we are going to get then I may come up with places 1-4 and everyone getting a prize!

Hahaha... I wish we had more participants. Makes it more fun!

Oh my! These are all so cute! I don't know how you're ever going to choose a winner!
We got a pretty little red, white and blue collar on our dog, but she won't seem to let us decorate her beyond that!

Awww cute! I don't have anything to dress the dogs up in!

The judging will begin Now.
It is 8pm central time. We have until midnight to post the winner!
I am so excited!

Vikki North said...

Hi Jules,
Manny, Leo and Pearly are real excited also. Ive discussed the importance of being good sports, but I dont think they get it. They've been meowing 'We are the Champions" all afternoon.

Its totally embarrassing to be the mother of 3 such conceited cats.

Oh Vikki it's okay to be singing. They are confident comPETitors.
The are darling and it's ok to know it!
bahhahahahah

Vikki, you are a riot! I so wanted to decorate my doggies, but being the contest promoters mom, I didnt dare, besides, I was too lazy to go out and buy outfits, altho Lily is so huge I could probably put her in my shorts and tennies.....
