Memorial Day

This is my dad. Charles R.
He was in the United States Airforce. He was very proud to serve his country. Daddy was a very patriotic and proud American. He loved this country very much. I wish I had stories to share about his time in the Airforce. I know he was in the Korean war and continued to work on airplane instrument panels after he left the military.

Daddy passed away two years ago. We all miss him very much. I will be thinking of you Dad on Memorial Day!

Love Jules #5

What a lovely way to mark the day. I'm thinking of my son's brother-in-law today. He was killed in Iraq on Feb 4th of this year.

Hi Jules #5
I missed your post yesterday, but it is wonderful. I have been reading your "on being #5" I happened onto it in link referral and enjoyed your posts very much. I will be back often to keep in touch, I like your writing style a lot. Your question about bounce rate, I have not tried to install google analytics on my blog yet so not sure if I can but that is how you could tell. Thank you for visiting and for the votes. I appreciate it.

Hello Arduous, this is the same picture in Matt's post. Aha, so you must be one of the 8's? It's so great that you're all able to communicate through your blogsites, too. Now I feel as though I'm intruding into a private chat room.

Anyhow, this is a great picture of your Dad, and Matt looks a lot like him. Have a great week.

Tasha~ Yep, Matt is my wonderful brother. He started the blog after our sister Christi suggested we check hers out. Then it just took on a life of it's own. I am #5 and Matt is #6 so he has to do as I say!!

Hehehe. Funny. I'm the youngest of 9. So everybody tells me what to do. So unfair, I say. I felt like a slave sometimes. Oh, well....

Hey Jewels, it's mom. LOVE your pix of my Lily and also the one of dad. He was a handsome devil wasn't he? All the kids look like him, thank goodness. Especially the eyes.
Love your new posts.
